We commenced operations in Hungary in 1969, becoming the first of the international car rental networks to do so. Since then, thanks to our continuous development and expansion, we have grown to operate 21 offices across the country.
Our strong presence in Hungary is ensured jointly by Avis Car Rental and the Avis Budget Group Business Support Centre. Together, we employ more than 1,200 people, making us stand out among the Hungarian operations of international car rental companies.
In 2010, AUTO ReFAIRent Kft. was established, with its headquarters in Vecsés. Our continuously renewed fleet of more than 500 vehicles offers a wide selection of passenger cars. With models from more than 10 brands and across various categories, ranging from the smallest passenger cars and electric vehicles to 9-seater minibuses, we help our customers find the most suitable vehicle. At Avis, everyone is sure to find something to suit their needs.
In addition to meeting the occasional, medium-term and long-term rental needs of corporate and individual customers, we also provide international bookings through our Hungary-based centre and, upon request, Avis credit card services to all our customers.
We are proud to cooperate with numerous international and domestic partners. We are members of the Association of Hungarian Car Rental Companies and hold the Excellent Certified Service Provider certificate.
